Lava shell to the rescue

Just returned from Lava Shell Rescue training in Oxfordshire which I thoroughly enjoyed.  Although I have been working with Stone Therapy for several years now and totally appreciate the use of hot and cold in my treatments finding it hugely beneficial not only for my client but also in maintaining my health and well being.  I was curious about Lava Shells natural, self heating system and  the ease and convenience of only having to carry a small amount of equipment  to and from clients. Rescue was my  obvious chose of signature treatments as it combined the deeply therapeutic effects of hot and the cold  therapy.

The 100 % natural Tiger Clam Shells used are a by product of the fishing industry in the Philippines they provide jobs for local communities who clean, polish and glue the shells together with a hole in the top.  Lava Shells unique heating system is made by combining a blend of food-grade minerals with water which creates a consistent, reliable, and powerful heat, without electricity that lasts for up to 1 hour. These simple, all natural ingredients create no harmful byproducts and are environmentally friendly too.

Rescue is a combination of Lava Shell and Glacial Shell massage so hot and cold therapy with specific massage techniques that really target aches and pains.  In my opinion its a deeply therapeutic treatment that really targets specific areas of tension in the body really helping to reduce tension and fatigue.   I personally felt invigorated especially using the cold therapy alongside the heat, my muscles felt far more relaxed I loved some of the techniques which fused many massage systems together for me.  A great training and system that I really look forward to sharing with both my regular clients and guests staying in Bude.
